BULLY - March 30th
I know my child is too young to go see this movie but as parents we have to teach our kids that just because someone looks, acts or does things differently than them, doesn't give them the right to tease or cause mental/physical harm to their peers.
If you have middle school and high school children please take them to go see this movie and have an open discussion afterwards. Don't limit the conversation and let your child actually tell you what's going on in their school. If you have younger children, start now teaching them that teasing and bully is not an acceptable action.

Most importantly give your children love and support each and everyday.
In theaters March 30th. Check your local theaters for show times.

WordFUL Wednesday: "Up All Night"
I came across this great pin on pinterest earlier today and it really spoke to me. Shout out to Kristen, from Clam Chowder for Lunch for writing such a mom-ivational post. I recently spoke about not calling my weight "baby weight" anymore since it's been longer than a year and this post just solidified why my "hot mom" journey is better than my pre-mommy journey.

Healthy Living: Take 2
They say, "a family that prays together, stays together" but I also think, "a family that eats clean together, stays together even longer".

I love the *side-eye* family members give when you start making what they think is your Sunday dinner plate and you add some mac-n-cheese. Ahahahaha when now the mac-n-cheese is designated for the kiddies only. The *side-eye* turns into a smile when you pass the plate to your son and hand him the spoon.
What I've been doing:
- 3 meals a day + 2 snacks
- 1/2 my body weight in water
- no sweets (I had a minor slip-up on this but I've been back on track for the past week now)
- 3x/week cardio (my fav Mel B Totally Fit) and Yes I do the Brit accent while working out
- I've started using my Laptop lunch box to assist w/ proper portion control
Have you and your family jumped on the clean eating bandwagon?

WordFUL Wednesday: Muhammad Ali
Muhammad Ali ~ statement after losing his first fight in 1973I am America. I am the part you won't recognize. But get used to me. Black, confident, cocky; my name, not yours; my religion, not yours; my goals, my own; get used to me.
My political career, as I like to call it, started with turning a Muhammad Ali quote into my campaign slogan. Thanks to my dad, my first race in 1996 for Class Secretary was "Float like a butterfly, Sting like a Bee, Vote Coco White for Secretary." I used that slogan all the way through High School, undefeated. Student Council instilled leadership and gave me opportunities, advantages and experiences, that I will cherish forever and will pass on to my child.
